Coosa Valley Football Association is a Non-Profit Youth Football, Cheerleading and Danceline organization comprised of 12 East Alabama Public High Schools. Teams from Alexandria, Heflin, Lincoln, Lineville, Munford, Ohatchee, Weaver, Wellborn, White Plains, Saks, TCC/Stemley and Randolph County compete each Saturday during the season.

COACH OF THE YEAR AWARDS FOR 2011:

Large Schools: Midgets, Chad Wilson - White Plains,  Pee-Wee, Clay Hall - Heflin,   Jr-B, Mike Cobb - Alexandria,  Small Schools:  Midgets, John Tucker - Ohatchee, Pee-Wee , Roger Key - Randolph County,  Jr-B , Alan Harris - Lineville 

COMMISSIONER NOTES:  As the 2011 season comes to a close, the officers of Coosa Valley would like to thank all the coaches, sponsor, players, cheerleaders and dance lines for their work and effort this season. A special thanks goes to the parents for getting their kids to practice, working the chains, helping their program where ever they were needed and spending their Saturday at a football game. I know there is a lot things that you needed to do on a Saturday, but I promise you as the years go by and you look back the memories will last you a lifetime. Due to number of suggestions, complaints and colorful metaphors, I received this season about the widgets. I have asked the rules committee to look at, and to come up with guidelines and ways to improve the widget program, to be address at the June 2012 meeting.
